Days of Wine and Mutts

These wineries not only tolerate dogs-they warmly welcome them

Even dogs need a break from the monotony of the workweek. Instead of leaving your dog at home when you hit the wineries, why not bring her along? Many destinations have their own dogs and welcome your well-behaved pooches. Here are a few that are especially dog friendly.

Adler Fels Tasting Room
Well-behaved dogs are welcome to romp in the picnic area. 9575 Sonoma Hwy., Kenwood, (707) 833-6131.

Casa Nuestra
Trigger, the black Lab, is the official greeter at Casa Nuestra and would be happy to give doggy tours to other canines. 3451 Silverado Trail N., St. Helena, (866) 844-9463.

Cuvaison
While their owners sip wine, dogs can drink from the dog water dish and make friends with dog-friendly cat Mikee. 4550 Silverado Trail N., Calistoga, (707) 942-6266.

Dutch Henry
Well-behaved dogs can enter the picnic area and meet the winery dogs Buggsy, Sadie, and Minnie. 4310 Silverado Trail, Calistoga, (888) 224-5879.

Foppiano
Foppiano periodically partners with Paws for Love, a charity that auctions dog-created art. 12707 Old Redwood Hwy., Healdsburg, (707) 433-7272.

Graeser

Lambert Bridge

Mumm Napa

Mutt Lynch
Mutt Lynch holds several dog-related events and will even host your dog's birthday party, puppy shower, or "Bark" Mitzvah. Healdsburg, tasting room open by appointment only, (707) 942-6180.

RustRidge Ranch

Trentadue
