PARKINSON'S DISEASE BENEFIT AT DIAMOND CREEK VINEYARDS
Diamond Creek's Night for Parkinson's
Diamond Creek Vineyards in Calistoga raised more than $150,000 for the fight against Parkinson’s disease at a gala dinner held at the winery in October, 2004. The dinner was hosted by Diamond Creek owners Al and Boots Brounstein and prepared by one of the country’s top chefs, Charlie Trotter of Charlie Trotter’s in Chicago. Al Brounstein has had Parkinson’s for 25 years and, now in his 80s, is still active in running the winery. All proceeds from the dinner went to the Parkinson’s Institute in Sunnyvale, Calif
